Detailed Itinerary:
Day1: Delhi
Arrival at Delhi. Transfer from airport to the hotel. Relaxation from the day at leisure.
Day2: Delhi
Morning fifty percent day sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Pay a visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Outdated Delhi. The sightseeing includes bustling Bazaars, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat. Visit the Red Fort within the evening to get a spellbinding audio & light show. Overnight at hotel.
Day3: Delhi / Bagdogra / Darjeeling
Transfer to airport and leave by air for Bagdogra and drive to Darjeeling. Remainder of the day at relaxation and acclimatise to the change in altitude. Darjeeling is dramatic with it's dark hillsides and abundance of flowers. It has a stunning view in the Kanchanjungha, the third highest peak within the world.
Day4: Darjeeling
Full day city tour visiting the Botanical Gardens, the Victoria Falls, Tenzing's House and Bazars. Return to your resort.
Day5: Darjeeling
Before sunrise drive to Tiger Hill to view the memorable sunrise over Kanchanjungha and catch a glimpse of Mount Everest. Return to Darjeeling via the Ghoom Buddhist Monastery. Established in 1850, this is the oldest monastery in Darjeeling. Remainder from the day at leisure.
Day6: Darjeeling / Gangtok
Early morning proceed by jeep to Gangtok. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day7: Gangtok
Full day sightseeing tour from the city visiting Chorten, a stupa built in 1945, the Deer Park with an image of preaching Buddha and the Orchid Sanctuary.
Day8: Gangtok / Bagdogra / Calcutta
Early morning proceed by jeep to Bagdora to fly to Calcutta. On arrival examine in at the hotel.
Day9: Calcutta
Full day city tour of Calcutta visiting the Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, Kain Temple (Mirror and Coloured glass encrusted and with multicoloured chandeliers, this temple built in 1867, sparkles within the sun) Rabindra Sarobar, Ramakrishna Mission Institute and Marble Palace.
Day10: Calcutta / Bhubaneshwar
Early morning proceed by air for Bhubaneshwar and transfer to hotel. Bhubaneshwar is a city of temples. There were once over 7000 temples of which only 500 remain today. It is here that in 261 BC, Emperor Ashoka after waging the bloodiest of wars, converted to Buddhism.
Day11: Bhubaneshwar / Puri
After breakfast, leave by surface for Puri. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Jagannath Temple (standing 65 meters high, built in the 12th century), the adjoining Ananda Bazaar or food market and the Puri Beach within the night. Overnight at resort.
Day12: Puri / Konark / Puri
Full day excursion to Konark, the famous Sun Temple. An architectural splendour, the temple is known for its exotic sculptures.
Day13: Puri / Bhubaneshwar
After an early breakfast, drive to Bhubaneshwar. On arrival verify in at the hotel. Afternoon pay a visit to the Chillika Lake: the biggest inland lake within the country ideal for birdwatching. Overnight at resort.
Day14: Bhubaneshwar / Delhi
After breafast, proceed by air to Delhi. On arrival check in at the hotel. Relaxation from the day at leisure.
Day15: Delhi
Early morning transfer from resort towards the airport to take the flight for onward destination.
